If I was a raccoon or some other animal on today's planet with all the destruction of habitat and species going on, I'd be going on overnight booze binges and passing out in bathrooms, too.

I can't even watch "news" anymore. I get a few headlines and written stories in then take ibuprofen for the daily headaches. It's one bucket of hog swill after another.

The only people I know that would eat that would be the pot-head friends. And my son. Because that boy will eat some weird stuff. (For example, he eats whole raw onions like apples)...like, did I get the wrong kid at the hospital?!

Ask their government and church leaders. Ask the elders of their families. Where do these people learn to cut off their finger to spite their hand? It starts with those that represent them, preach to them and those that they grew up with. Until that connection changes, they will be the same.

I make smashed taters my mate loves. Boil yellow potatoes in their skins until soft but not falling apart. Then use a spatula to "smash" the potato a little, drizzle olive oil on, sprinkle garlic powder, salt and pepper and bake at 400°F for about 40 min. Add cheese and other toppings as desired.

Frankly, more need to boycott their MAGA voting family holidays. For their own peace of mind and to let them really feel the pinch of emotional and mental discomfort. We don't need to keep bleeding our hearts for those that shut their own hearts off.

Thankyou! It was my morning of zen. Sat in the snow in the quiet and played like a kid for a few hours while everyone slept. My wrists are paying for it but it was worth it :)
