I've never played a Pokemon game before but I have heard they are pretty easy. A side issue I had with TS was that it felt like it was trying to balance appealing to both younger and older crowds and ended up missing the mark in both cases. I think the series is moving in the right direction though.

Same here, Spiketail was especially difficult on Draconian. I am hoping DQII will feel a bit more balanced.

Agreed, really enjoyed what I have played so far. Also, if you haven't unlocked Mahjong make sure you save before you play a hand. You can lose a lot of money if you come in last.
