Fortunately for a lot of people, Dr King didn’t get hung up on whether religion and politics could mingle.

I appreciate the worry about exclusion, and in that spirit I would ask folks to remember that faith can motivate a whole spectrum of political responses, many of which benefit everyone.

the title also doesn't make it clear that the extremist messaging commonly occurs in this ADMINISTRATION'S messaging and could be read to imply "gov messaging is always like this, it's normal"

Good post. The title of the article is in passive voice, which makes it seem like racist extremism simply … occurs. But that isn’t so, and the Press needs to be clear about that.
