Can't even believe I'm setting a new goal like this cause I'm still pretty casual, but I think I'm gonna aim for a sub 1h30m run for Silksong. Gonna give it another go sometime in the afternoon tomorrow but now my training arc truly begins!!!

So I totally forgot to share it but Christmas day I got Silksong on my Switch 2 and ended up doing a run that was 3h26m; a whole hour and change faster than my first complete run. Then earlier tonight I made that time look trivial...

Silksong is the absolute goat and I can't play enough of it.
E33 is the new standard for RPGs, especially the storytelling.
AI Limit is a super overlooked gem of a soul like, easily one of my new favorites.
MHWi was really fun when I got it to run lol

Got the Speedrunner achievement for Silksong! The High Halls arena is easily the hardest thing in the game, Lace 2 & GMS aren't nearly as challenging. New goal is to get a sub 3h!

I finished Prime 4 and I definitely have some thoughts. The actual game where you're exploring, solving puzzles and blasting baddies is some of the series' best, but the bland overworld, irritating side characters and heavy linearity really take you out of the experience.

I finished Prime 4 and I definitely have some thoughts. The actual game where you're exploring, solving puzzles and blasting baddies is some of the series' best, but the bland overworld, irritating side characters and heavy linearity really take you out of the experience.

It was beautiful. Honestly just incredible from top to bottom. It's the same story through and through, and for anyone who's seen a Del Toro film before you'll see his charm and craft all over it.

Just finished reading Bury Your Gays. Honestly a great horror-coded take on the commodification of queer trauma in Hollywood and tackles a lot of issues in media depicting queer relationships. Also just some really fun storytelling too. Would very much recommend!
