I killed a rabbit today. He and his friends were eating in my garden.
I used a slingshot and hit him right in the temple. He fell instantly.
Why do I feel bad for not eating him as well? He’s a mangy suburb rabbit. My wife and I don’t feel safe to eat him, but it feels wasteful.

I’m reading that it is outside of standardized deductions. So you report your income from your employer provided W-2 where your credit card tips are broken out and taxed, then you get a tax deduction up to $25,000 of income?

So reading the actual house bill, it’s still going to be taxed in your paycheck. The tax filer will need to claim that OT deduction on their federal taxes. Trumps last tax law changed it so that everyone is taking the standard deduction. So this is basically useless?
