DOH/ACC do this 000s of times a year. It's propagandized as "end of life services" but is IRL extermination on demand. People don't want or can't keep their pets. If ACC can't convince them to check the "kill" box on the form they do it later without making the animal available for adoption.

🚨 Last call for 9-y/o Clever/ Chai aka Terror, now under kill command w/o ever being listed. So scared he is hurting himself in his kennel & too afraid to walk on his own. Found outside a park early Sept. His owner knows he is there & has not picked him up. He is neutered.
