Also, your app saying that playlists "work the exact same way as filters" is just not true. Sure, deciding what episodes are in the playlist works the same. Sure. But they look different, and that's not exactly the same, no matter how much your marketing team wants it to be.

I also get why this image is used in the list of playlists, because it's helpful for seeing what is currently in that playlist. Great, makes sense, a useful feature. But covering half of the playlist screen? So unnecessary and so over the top.

But with podcast episodes, why would I want to be like "just play all of my unread episodes in order". We don't treat it the same way as music, and we don't need an extra image at the top of the "playlist" (if you will) showing us no more info than we already have on the list. How is this helpful?

I understand why music albums have that image. Because it's based off the idea of a custom album, and albums have art that you like to look at, and you click on a playlist to listen to the playlist but podcasts are not music.

It takes up so much space. Before this, I could generally see all my unread episodes in 1 screen, now I see 4 without having to scroll down. It's dreadful and i might have to change podcast app if you don't at least give us a way to hide it.

I'm fine with the filters being redone and now being called playlists, but please get rid of the unnecessary image at the top of the screen. It takes up half of the screen and is completely useless. Why do I want an image made up of the images from the top 4 podcasts in my list???

I'm excited to go next year. Did you go to the festival of seasons? I did and am looking forward to seeing how it compares to that.

That would be amazing. I love the app.
