I admit that, through 2025, I have become an #ai #doomer. Not that I believe the LLM-becoming-sentient-and-killing-humanity self-serving hype bullshit for a second. There are much more concrete impact points that may lead to or greatly accelerate several crises, each of which will actively harm […]

I have an Energizer ARC power station with an MC4 solar connector which plugs into the 12V power input […]

PSA: If your language learning or general interests have been running afoul of YouTube's DISASTROUS auto-dub feature, I learned recently that this feature CAN be overridden by clients

If you add a language to your preferred languages, YT will stop auto-dubbing that language.

I'm not up in arms about #Mozilla because, meh, features that I don't use but that aren't in my way aren't a huge deal.

But I really wonder who is using the AI browsers enough to make companies think we *want*

Reviews seem largely neutral to negative, or say the tech is premature. Your killer […]

My favorite thing about Mistral's new Vibe CLI is simply that it is open source so I can learn from it!

There are so many different frameworks and techniques for agents these days, it is nice to see the plumbing and examine how it works together. (And in #Python, bless you ❤️).

Also excited […]

AI is controversial at many levels, but regardless of whether you like it, hate it, fight it, welcome it or whatever... it is definitely here to stay.

I obviously have a personal interest in #ai, but a few insights into its development to date may also be helpful for others in order to have a […]

Don't do this on someone else's system of course, but one could use #react2shell #cve with a payload that patches the issue 👀

I just attack-patched 19.1 in my VM 😂
