My (late) husband has never stepped foot into my (our) new house. His shrine/memorial corner cycles bits and bobs once connected to him and even some items that have shown up since his passing I believe to be from him. 217 days since I’ve seen his face. #widow #newlywidowed

Such an amazing sky last night. Of course pictures don’t do it justice but the moon was shining so bright that it created a halo effect. Down side is I was walking the dog, head up, phone up, snapping these pics and nearly fell on my face after tripping over my own feet!

This is Gabriel - he’s my 28 year old feather boy. My late husband picked him from a clutch of eggs and he’s been our trash talking, foul mouthed, attention seeking child ever since.
