It's great we won't need it anymore, and it's been a lot of hard work to get here, but I'm going to miss the other parents and the staff a lot.

The elder unit is off to pre-primary (kindergarten) next year and young son is going into daycare, so we just won't be back next year.

I've also started therapy so I can work on sensory triggers, overloads, and just generally unmasking so I have more capacity for the people and things I actually care about. So f far so good, but it's going to take a while.

Right now I'm in stay-at-home dad mode, and I'll move to part time when the lad gets to daycare (more when he gets five full days). I'm also about to start volunteer work and potentially state and federal election work in March.
