GRRR-EATINGS EVERYONE!!! Today is your irregularly timed... time where I yell into the void to gush about something. This time around it's Yugioh's new Genesys format! It puts more emphasis on deckbuilding and seems poised to solve the issue of giving decks that arent quite meta a home.

Well, I just finished a binge of the latter half of Beyblade X Season 1. Holy fricking crap, Bir- no, Robin Kazami, stand proud.
Anywho, I know this has been a thing since Burst (which I didn't watch much of) but I love the point format for matches, it lends itself to a more flexible narrative.

"If you like TTRPGs, you should GM more." And that's not like a "Oh there are more players than GMs." it's just been that writing a oneshot for my players has been a great jolt of inspiration. Homebrewing stuff just hits different, as you'll have to think about potential interactions.
