In my experience ML is used to optimise outcomes from a limited number of inputs. e.g. internal, external temps, flow rates & temps to run a heating system. May include forecast data. It is a closed system. Others seek trends & patterns in health diagnosis, but again closed. They work well.

There are other fantasies far lot more pleasant than CCS to waste time on. There are no fully working plants at scale. All will require subsidy just to enable the fossil fuel industry to keep burning stuff. We are not 'gonna need it'. We need to stop pissing away money on it.

It only refers to income tax. If these are averages, are the upper bands skewed by possible digression from the median? Equally are bottom bands effected in the opposite direction? If one person has £101 and 99 have £1 the average is £2.00. The median and the Mode is £1.00.

Disappointment? You should have stood in the Holmesdale End in the 1970s expecting a win under Big Malcolm Allison. A real Crystal Palace experience.

So, say I take my EV to Europe for a month and cover 2000 miles. How is this accounted for and substantiated? I shouldn't pay the UK Govt for travelling on non UK roads. Equally what happens when someone brings their EV into the UK on holiday? There will be fun with private mileage on company cars.

Can you please confirm the 'additional' £820m for Scotland over 3 years are in fact the result of the Barnett Formula (consequentials) due to changes in England so not 'extra' to Appease Anwas Sawar who asked the Chancellor for more. It looks like money Scotland would get anyway.

A post of labour speak defending ludicrously high fares compared to Europe. Until the ROSCOs are controlled and replaced little will alter. We are still living with the consequences of the original privatisation. Maybe time to seize everything that was asset stripped by Railtrack?

I'd rather be in the Starbank Inn!

Just like the plant at Mossmorran in Fife that Exxon operated since 1985 and are about to close with the loss of 400 jobs. This is why we need a Just Transition more than ever.

The really important part at lower efficiencies we are heading for 500w panels in standard format. When I started in solar 15 years ago a 250w panel was exotic and seriously expensive. Bring it on!

If the Govt put a fraction the money being wasted on Sizewell into EMEC and tidal we could be assured of cheap reliable energy in a zero carbon mix.

Hopefully we will now get some movement on Russian interference with Brexit and the person whose name rhymes with financial institution high street branches we no longer have.

The vast majority will say, you are so welcome here. Thank you for your work. I hope that the traditions of your origins stand fast and add to the wonderful diversity I cherish that enriches those it touches. The depravity on immigration & asylum is not the majority. We need it more than ever.

Depends who you get your SEG from. £0.15 is pretty good. Problem will be who their supplier is and what they are tied in to by local authority wide purchase arrangements.

Whilst in theory it may make sense, the Government's record on this with Feed in Tariffs was dire. Didn't cut when urged by the industry, over cut, judicial review. Postponement. Then cut. No proper taper reflecting market conditions. Negative impact on industry with a third closing at one stage.

Co-location reduces impact on Grid significantly. There is quite a lot already in China. More interesting, co-location with battery storage has zero impact.

As far as is known. a single Thermify is in operation. A great promise of cheap or free heat awaiting realisation.

Wow! Only taken you FOUR MONTHS to notice. Guess what? Thankfully I am no longer a customer. Go check your complaints register. Let this complacency be a warning to anyone else thinking of trusting them with your business. They don't deserve it.

Sadly your post doesn't read that way. Citing a company that was almost in permanent crisis unhelpful. I worked there in the 70s and 80s. The diversity of views and opinions were wider than many might expect.

And exactly how many did you know in your time in Oxford, Birmingham, Bathgate, Glasgow, Leyland, and Llanelli to name a few? Think I know the answer.
