The despair hit me hard today when I heard about the FL concentration camp.

Finished All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir. Fantastic book. A lot of it hit me hard. Characters were relatable and lovable. It gives a lot to mull over.

Is this what it felt like on the eve of the Holocaust? This quiet sense of foreboding underlying normal life. The wind bites as it always did and I use that familiarity to ground me against what I can't believe is real. We ask ourselves who allowed this and it is us. But it isn't me.

Started reading the Color of Magic today and why on this green earth did no one tell me how witty Pratchett's writing is?! I've never laughed at the first 50 pages of a book as much as this one. Literally the most fun hour of reading I've had in my life.

First beta chapter went out last week and got a lot of great support. My favorite was my partner saying that it's the strongest chapter one she's read so far... And I think this is the fourth revision she's read!
