SOS boxes remain low cost and high impact, sustainable and suitable for small or larger scale use.

Crucially, they can make a profound difference to healthcare workers who have periods/menstruate.

It’s time to progress even further during 2025.

Will you join the change?

We’ve come a way since 2018, when the first SOS boxes were piloted. Thank you to all involved.

The SOS box initiative vision stays firmly focused on seeing a future where period/sanitary products are freely accessible for all healthcare staff at work for unexpected/unmet need.
