Your list is spookily close to mine (Border Collie owner too). And my grandfather lived just behind that cafe in Southgate when I was a child 50 odd years ago. (It was just a couple of tables in the front of a Welsh souvenir shop in those days)

Wow! I would never have thought of putting those two together but that is amazing.

Yeah, that’s why I steer clear tbh

Was this Cliffe? Heard from someone who knows that there was a political disagreement in Cliffe tableau team leading to new people in charge of it this year and making a complete fuck-up of it.

For me:
SLP is great for unmixing but obviously Windows first and not very intuitive on Mac. Crashes all the time (on M4 Max Mac Studio at least)

RX showing its age but still v useful

Dx Revive good but v easy to overdo it

Hush Pro bloody amazing, especially the dx, rev and noise separation.

The BBC kept an office on the upper ground floor until about 2005ish but Pier Prods took on the basement studio and another office at the back of the building which I think had been BBC

In this case the whole building was sold as a job lot. The man who’d maintained it for many years said it would be an absolute nightmare to move as so many hacks had been done to convert it to stereo (in the late 80s) that not many off the wiring diagrams made sense anymore.

I worked with Ray a few times and he was a bit tricky but I forgave him everything because he was so sweet to my son when he came into Konk for the day. He kept slipping him kit-Kats! There’s a softie buried in there somewhere. (Very well hidden though!)

Damn. We will certainly meet before long I’m sure!

I think you should do this person a favour and offer to do some decluttering.
I’m sure you would be prepared to shoulder the burden for the sake of your friendship.

I forgot to get a slice of the cake! Somehow didn’t get to meet you there

How much is @edmorrish.bsky.social paying you. And can I get some of it.
