Erotica, but also now romance.
It used to be much easier to find a spiceless or low spice romance read, now it feels like romance has become synonymous with sex/spice. I feel like what I think of as romance is now more often categorized as chick-lit.

I'm still pretty early in but liking it overall.
R.F. Kuang writes what I guess I would call Hard Academia? Like hard sci-fi it's more rooted in reality. So, in this case, a competitive research college setting, which really appeals to me. Add in a trip through the levels of hell, sign me up.

Cliché, maybe, but the Chronicles of Narnia will always be close to my heart.
Also, the Tripod Series by John Christopher. And the Isis Trilogy by Monica Hughes for sparking a love of Science Fiction early.

The Veldt by Ray Bradbury

Had to read it in high school and stuck with me so strongly that I sought out the "The Illustrated Man" a decade later. I still adore it for having the collection book ended by another short story.

💯 Give me data or give me death!

I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for the beta announcement! I'd kick myself if I missed the opportunity to be on the ground floor of a story that needed a spreadsheet for its creation :P

Thankfully I can use @thestorygraph.com 's content warnings to scope out or flag graphic sexual content in general. But sometimes it would be nice to know more specifically what I am getting into and if its something I would need to or want to avoid.

ahahahah, ok fair, that would not be nearly as fun.
If I can't make a graph or chart with the data at the end its lost half the fun.

That being said, I love the idea and can't wait for your short story to fully come together!

I love this idea!
I actively avoid spicey books when I can help it, but there have been times when a non-romance book will throw a random scene in that will catch me off guard. (Looking at you The Wicked Years). Thankfully its a preference and not a trigger, but I imagine it would be hella useful.

As someone who finds spreadsheet creation and maintenance to be a soothing and creative process I am deeply intrigued by your story premise.

Love manga and manhwa.
Gutted that most of my collection had to go into storage to make room for the baby.

Now most of manga consumption is through the library. Either digitally or whatever volumes I can get in person.

That makes a lot of sense actually.
No surprise, I don't generally go in for romance or spicy books, so that would honestly make it easier to mute certain accounts and not worry too much about missing out on titles I would actively be interested in.

Really appreciate your insight!!

Coming at me with logic... How dare 😅
fiiiiiiiine, I guess I'll read my ARCs first before I start in on an 50+ hour long relisten before launching into the 32+ hour finale.
oooh but what if I did a relisten of the original, and THEN the full GraphicAudio....
🤔

Can I ask how you are choosing to mute? Is it more ad by ad, or authors/publishers who are spamming their ads regularly? I still want to hear from indie authors but i feel like so much discussion and content is getting buried

UGH this is only making me want to read it more.
Why do you torture me like this?!?!? 😜

TBH a tiny part of me wants to do a complete reread from the beginning.
