el-hazard: the magnificent world - a very neat ova series of a group of kids + their teacher being transported into another world. it's aged and it has its fair share of weirdness, but i think it's a delightful thing to pop on and watch. the backgrounds, ost, and dub are stunning.

KAMEN RIDER GAVV (2024) - "Shoma, from another world, transforms into Kamen Rider Gavv to save people from Granutes."

it's peak. it just is peak. while i still have some gripes with the story the emotional beats and the story still get me. if you only see one kr property do this one. i'll miss him.

LOOK WHO'S TALKING (1989) - "Mollie is a single working mother who's out to find the perfect father for her child. But her son prefers a cab driver turned babysitter."

It's cute, but definitely a product of its times. Definitely Aged but it's cute if you wanna kill time.

LOOK BACK (2024) - "The confident Fujino and the shut-in Kyomoto couldn't be more different, but a love of drawing brings these two together."

A love letter to creatives, art, and human connection. Heartwrenching, cannot recommend it enough, especially if you're also struggling with your art.

DRIVE-THRU (2007) - "A high-school student must save townspeople from a murderous clown who works at a fast-food joint."

This is AWFUL but it's entertaining and crazy. A lot of scenes would go hard on a gifset and the main villain's suit goes hard. But it IS bad. Eat an edible and watch in a group.

CHESS (1984) - "At the height of the Cold War, two chess masters battle for the world championship, but their greatest contest is for the love of one woman."

How many times have I listened to Chess in the last month? Don't worry about it.
