The original Legato Bluesummers is such a cool and iconic design. Instantly memorable. This new one looks like an arc villain from Sword Art Online. The worst part is you can see what they're going for, the ghost of Legatto is still there, just trapped in a design that's terrible.

Fun fact: I'm sitting here twenty minutes into The Colors Trilogy: Blue. I've kept myself mostly completely blind on these movies outside of knowing they were very good and I would watch them someday. I somehow got the impression these were stylized romance films similar to Wong Kar Wai.

Played a demo on Steam called Forbidden Solitaire. It takes the role of a 90s FMV dungeon crawler with solitaire based mechanics that's really fun, but also has a really interesting Inscryptionesque meta narrative that was just starting to get teased out. The aesthetic goes HARD! Higly reccomend!

Dude, finally getting round to Escape From New York, a SHOCKING blind spot in my life, and the concept of NYC being a toxic apocalyptic wasteland and there just being a grizzled old taxi driver who's seen it all and still runs his taxi is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

I bought a Hobonichi Techo planner at the beginning of the year along with some art and Journaling supplies and it's really given me a fresh outlook for the year. Helping to get organized, focused and clarifying my thoughts. Highly recommend it.

Watching The Killing by Kubrick and noticed an actor playing a chess playing tough who's his to start a bar fight who seemed interesting. Looked him up and it turns out the guy was an actual wrestler and chess player named Kola Kwariani who would later go on to train Bruno Sanmartino.

Man, the fate franchise is a profoundly stupid series that started it's life as a porn game, encompasses far to much material for anyone to reasonably try to enter the franchise and is primarily held up at this point by a gacha game and people dropping obscene amounts of money on their waifus.

Back on my bullshit with Fear and Hunger: Termina, and i have no idea how intentional this is, but the first time you see the kaiser and he turns to look at you theres a chest on screen, and if you run up and open it the coin flip sound plays right as he turns to look at you.
