To say the New York Jets are a bit of a mess is an understatement. There are some teams that may be better off sold to other owners, this may be one of them. Still, I think it is premature to dismiss Head Coach Aaron Glenn outright. If the team drafts great this year, then maybe there's potential.

The Cleveland Browns are a historic football team, but their history is overburdened with a lot of pain. Shaduer Sanders injected some energy into that squad. I'm hopeful that with a good coach and smart off-season, they can get out from under their legacy of losing.

Also, let me be clear, there is a whole off-season to go. Every year, some wild things happen. I expect more of the same. This is more my end of the year evaluation and seeing a general POV where the team appears to be heading next season.

The Los Angeles Rams had a great season, and Matthew Stafford is destined for the HOF. Though I do wonder how much of a window is left for him and this team. Based on how well he did this year, I'd say he isn't done yet, but they need to act swiftly.

I think the Philadelphia Eagles will be contenders next year. They need to deal with issues in their locker room (no names mentioned but I'm thinking of one very loudly) and become more dynamic offensively again.

The Pittsburgh Steelers should look to find a veteran short-term quarterback while also drafting a potential talent for the future. The upcoming draft doesn't appear loaded with top-caliber QB talent, but there is no such thing as a sure thing in the NFL. It's a new era in Pittsburgh, though.

The Washington Commanders had a rough year filled with injuries. If Jayden Daniels is fully healthy and stays healthy, they are a team to watch. If not, it may be another mediocre at best year to come.

The Detroit Lions did a lot right last year, but in key moments during the season, they missed out on key opportunities. It was like watching a talented team trip over themselves. I expect them to be contenders again next year.

The New York Giants have a new coach in John Harbaugh. They have a potential franchise quarterback in Jaxson Dart, an elite wide receiver in Malik Nabers, a passionate RB in Cam Skattebo, and a top 5 draft pick. The Giants could have easily been a 10 win team in 2025. They may bounce back quickly

I'm new here so I decided to talk some football. Talking about some the teams and their direction. The league is very dependent on QB play and so I will talk that. You can disagree or agree, but be constructive and bring your take respectfully.

The Green Bay Packers have a solid QB in Jordan Love, and love him or hate him, they kept Matt LaFleur. The Packers had some key injuries late in the season that stymied their chances. I expect them to be contenders once more next season.

Chicago Bears Quarterback Caleb Williams showed a lot of progress while taking his team into the playoffs. They had some luck along the way, but if he continues to grow and that team builds a better defense, they should be again a contender.

I'm sure @minakimes.bsky.social is enjoying that Seahawks win. Always liked seeing her talk on ESPN!

The Arizona Cardinals had a rough year filled with injuries and uncertainty. Kyler Murray does seem to have the talent to lead a team, but he also has issues staying on the field. Jacoby Brissett had a pretty decent year, but it didn't amount in any wins. They'll trade one and draft a QB early.

Well, the New England Patriots will play the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl. It could be a good game, I'm hopeful for that. The New Englander in me says Patriots, but my mind wanders back over to Seattle. That defense is something special and Darnold is playing well.
