6/ In other words, Trump did not just state yesterday that “sometimes we need a dictator,” suggesting he himself would be that dictator, but through the Board of Peace he also seems to be reaching for the role of would‑be emperor of the world.

5/ The irony is that this resembles the very “one world government” his MAGA base denounces as a sinister globalist plot. Except in this case, Trump appears to want to install himself as emperor of that one‑world order.

4/ but as the apex of a shadow world order in which accountability and democratic membership are optional.

2/ With thin checks, a minimum of three bodies, and Trump empowered to invite, expel, veto, reinterpret, and even dissolve the entity, the Board is structurally capable of functioning as “global governance” made up of one man plus whoever is willing to pay and defer to him.

2/ Alliance forces operate under military defense mandates, not domestic legal authority. Using NATO to “free up Border Patrol agents” is not only legally incoherent, it simply insane.

Understand the frustration. But.... impeachment requires a majority of the House of Representatives, and Democrats do not have that (let alone 2/3 of the Senate to convict). So there was, and still is, no plan that can work without Republicans.
