Funny enough, just north of Vulcan is Drumheller, a paleontology hotspot. Fun fact: it's illegal for any business there to not be dinosaur themed (don't look that up)

And I would still say apathetic, maybe both. I try not to talk politics too much with my American Coworkers, but when major news events come up, it's stunning how many have no clue. Like haven't even begun to hear about what their country has been bombing, or anything else that's been going on.
