Ellie belongs to a young family who have struggled to find and keep housing. Ellie developed "seasonal allergies" at two years old, which developed into serious allergies at 6 years old. The Street Dog Coalition helped Ellie get the care she needed.

Huge thank you to The Heart of Illinois Community Foundation, for their efforts to help our Decatur team earn a match from the Balance Foundation! The match was met, thanks to the local donors and organizations who believe in strengthening smaller communities.

On November 20, Transgender Day of Remembrance is observed. A day to honor the memory of the people who were killed by acts of anti-transgender violence. The Street Dog Coalition stands with our transgender community, and will continue to be a safe space for all!
