River back to normal after the rains. Watching a hatch and boom… confident rise and this 13” beauty. Returned a little wiser

The east dart is a gem of a river and provides a haven for amazing wild brown trout. I know this area very well.

Small but perfectly formed. Our river Teign wild trout are starting to look up to dry flies thanks to some settled weather.

Love to get up early and watch the river wake up. So many sights and sounds today!

Agreed - Have had a few good hatches in the warmer windows, but they only last for 30mins tops. At least we're able to tempt wild fish to the dry fly in March! I must admit the river is looking stunning at the moment.
