I also wanted to codify the randomness that comes from Scovillains Padron Pepper inspiration as a game mechanic, helping to give bit some more interesting gameplay. Variety form would be the default, with green or red each being a 1/20 chance, as a nod to the new TTRPG themes present in the line!

It's really unclear in the original design what creatures Capsakid and Scovillain are. Keeping with the 'Theatre' and 'Villain' themes present in the line, I decided to turn Capsakid into a kobold and Scovillain into a dragon, classic minor and major villains in TTRPGs.

I wanted to make the 'Spaghetti Western Villain' theme more prominent, as it doesn't show through as much as I'd like in the original design (especially in Capsakid!). I gave them both more outfit-like designs with spurred boots and a cloak, cowboy hat-shaped leaves, and a bandana on Capsakid.
