Neurosparkly, geeky, non-normative cis hetero husband, dad, and domesticated weirdo/misanthropic secular humanist. Also fanatical about music, MST3K, Star Trek, SF&F lit, Lego, and the Phillies.
It’s amazing how the people running WaPo continue to find inventive ways to make it less relevant and worthy of being completely avoided.

That's a great line to give the context needed for how Pennywise should appear (at least at the start.) Having said that, I was a child who was actually terrified of clowns. So, in the real world I would've likely been safe from him. 😜

Thank you for stating the thing that had been gnawing at the back of my head regarding new Pennywise vs. Curry's rendition. While Pennywise is scary, kids need to at least be lured into trap. Being a full blown scary monster doesn't jibe with that need.

If only the Democratic Party still cared about anti-trust laws... or lots of other things they used to stand for many decades ago.

The Philly Tarot Card deck has 2 editions. I don’t know which ones were swapped, but the artist changed a few of them in between the two print runs. I currently have the first and have contemplated picking up the second solely so that I can have all of the Philly-themed artwork in my collection.

I have so fucking had it with the dystopian nightmare this shitty country has become. , for one, won’t be celebrating shit during USA’s celebratory combination of congratulatory circle jerk, whitewashing of history, and gaslighting of current events throughout all of next year.

I almost hate to suggest this, but is it possible that the answer is another round of expansion? The gap between the best players in the game and the worst has never been smaller, and historically, it's that gap that creates more opportunities for the above average players to shine.

So glad I bought the entire series on Blu-ray several years ago. Physical media (when available) for the win!
