Even though I ended up building most of it myself, it was a joy for her to be able to be part of a creative process the resulted in something beautiful. I’m glad that I’ll always be able to remember the smile on her face when she was able to select the right brick & click something into place.

Day 5: B1 battle droid! This little guy is another very detailed model, although there is not any independent articulation in the legs. These droids first appeared in The Phantom Menace in 1999.
