The school I work at had a bake sale before the afternoon and evening shows of the Christmas concert. They needed to raise 1500 to cover a field trip in Feb...they made just over 1300! Who knew a bake sale could rake in that kinda dough? With a few hot chocolate sales, they will raise the rest! Woo!

Fed up with the daycare in my building. 3 of the women that work there bathe in perfume. It was so bad last Friday, I ended up going home with a pounding head. Tonight, again, pounding head. I texted my principal to ask that she speak to them about the scent free policy. I feel that will go nowhere.

I got to work today and one of the littles was looking for the principal to fix his mask with glue. I said 'I don't think glue will hold the elastic in place, come with me, I have a stapler'. He came to my office, and waited at the door while I stapled the elastic back on for him. 1/2

Pretty sad that the literal 'few' parents that volunteer their time to do stuff for the kids in this school are treated like sh!t, WHILE PUTTING ON AN EVENT FOR KIDS AND THEIR FAMILIES. Now, the rest of the events planned, are cancelled. Hope you are happy, a$$holes.

Watched 'I Like Me', the John Candy documentary. It was so well done. I sobbed when Macaulay Culkin spoke. John lookd out for him, and treated him like his own child. The part that got me the most was when Steve Martin spoke about how they closed the 405 for his funeral procession. My heart. 💔

My poor girl. First day back to work after 3 weeks off. First time coming home from work without our boy to greet her. The heartbreak is so very real. We miss you, our sweet boy. 🐾
