I have, and it looks cool. But it suffers a similar fate as too much decentralization can do, in that very few will adopt it. Discord's entire value proposition is the people. With Guilded getting killed (after being Roblox'd), there's no real clear viable alternative for the common user. Yet.

This reminds me of all the graphs for various service metrics surrounding Covid. Things like, game sales and player counts, YouTube views and subs, etc. But this goes even further to a single point in time, with singular events.

So yeah, you might not see them more often than you might see normal police on occasion. But they’re also roaming in unmarked squads, targeting individuals or looking for prey of opportunity.

I always hated the numbers comparison between MPD and ICE, when they’re operating in more than just Minneapolis. They spread out through the whole metro like hunters. Attention seekers acting as “press” thought it would be ICE parading through the streets when it’s more insidious that that.
