Made this today. You know, because I love Mortal Kombat. That's really the only reason.

I'm a big fan of how the Steam awards panned out. Lots of great wins here.

Well, that's nice.

Been playing Qup as Mynt, and just by targeting Luke, The Gambler with my Meta Read, I've gotten it up to 209 (every time I see Luke on the enemy team, read goes up by 1. It resets if Luke is not on the enemy team). I don't want this to end, but I have to share this before it does.

To this day I find it very funny that in 1995, there was a game called Defcon 5. I'm sure the devs thought that Defcon 5 meant all out war. This is very funny to me.

Finally got around to reading all of One World Under Doom last night. It's very much a metaphor for our current times, in more ways than one. Some elements of Dr. Doom's character moments felt like retreads of Secret Wars, but otherwise a really wonderful read.

Operation: Dog Park was a success.

Luca is now fast asleep in his bed.

Just for fun, I thought I'd share how I play games on PC. This is my customized Playnite, the aggregate launcher that launches all games I have on PC from a single launcher. It also helps me check if I own a game on another platform before pulling the trigger on a sale.

Playing Hundred Line and watching a YT video about a custom built, 3D-printed, raspberry pi cyberdeck.

Merry Christmas everyone 🎄

There's some very obvious long time Capcom DNA throughout the game's combat, from the UI design, to the character design, to even how combat was built. Even if was fated to be only a niche title, it's a real shame it never released in English speaking territories.

When I started my first battle, I didn't touch any buttons, thinking a command menu would appear. It was only after I pressed a button that I realized that the game uses direct action for normal attacks, and only uses a menu for skills.

There's a lot to love about how Last Ranker visualizes combat. I appreciate the health and stagger bars framing the shot, and the tight shot with a dutch angle. I love the HUGE rank number in the top left corner.

Quote with a robot that's not Star Wars or Transformers.
