I don’t know, I think they dropped Alabama in there to give themselves an out. My guess is either they’ll leave it alone and say they’re not penalizing them for making the championship game, or they’ll drop them below ND and Miami and say yeah but you looked like doo-doo

They needed a PI on a deflected pass and then a ref block on 3rd and long just to get on the scoreboard

I think they did this in 2014, where they had it TCU/OSU/Baylor even though Baylor beat TCU but they thought TCUs resume was much better when you compared the 3 of them, but once OSU jumped them after they won the B1G title, they compared TCU/BU against each other and suddenly head to head mattered

I hate UT, but let’s say they scheduled Texas Southern instead of OSU in week 1, and now they’re 10-2. Does that change the perception of whether they should be in?
