Also, just before Christmas, I received my Mega Man Hand-Drawn Game Guide from kickstarter in the mail. @heyphilsummers.bsky.social hit this one out of the park! Super high quality and vibrant! Love it.

Right after recovering from being sick over the holidays, I received a flat tire on my way to work. Starting 2026 off great!

Been a bit, work and vacations have kept me busy. Anyway, back on Black Friday, a distracted driver hit my vehicle with my wife and myself in it. Thankfully no one was hurt, but had to have my back passenger door and tire replaced and body work done. Not a fun time.

I finally about 100% completed Donkey Kong Bananza over the weekend. Not to spoil anything, I completed the post-game challenges and was left a small bit disappointed - the game is amazing, one of the best plot twists in a while (iykyk), but I wanted more of an ending after those challenges.

I’m terrible at posting, sorry. Summer vacations and busy workdays are taking up my time. I’ll get to posting regularly (hopefully) soon, if only for myself. Anyway, here’s a few random pictures from last month at one of my favorite Disney World resorts, Port Orleans Riverside.

Last Wednesday, I finally received an email from Nintendo, granting me a chance to purchase the Switch 2 directly from Nintendo themselves. It hasn’t been in stock in any of the stores around, so I decided to order online from Nintendo. (Today I got an email saying it will arrive Thursday)

Also, went over to Magic Kingdom last Saturday to also say goodbye to the Rivers of America (Liberty Belle Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island go away next month) - fun fact, in all my years of going to WDW, I had never ever stepped foot on Tom Sawyer Island. I liked the Fort… that is all.

I literally just realized that my childhood copy of SMB3 was a first production “Left Bros” cartridge - my father must’ve really wanted to play it and got it right away when it was released. (It became one of his favorite games ever)
I absolutely love my NES collection - so many memories.

Preordered the Medieval Seaside Market set :) - a nice set that works as a bridge between the Lion Knight’s Castle and the El Dorado Fortress 🏰 #LEGO

Over the last year and so, my wife has gotten very into #LEGO, which in turn has gotten me back into it, as well. I used to collect Lego back in the 90s and still had everything in totes. Recently, we’ve have been working on cleaning, finding, and bundling all my old sets.

Acquired some more NES games for the collection this month: Mega Man 4, TMNT 3, and Snake’s Revenge. Took some time to play Mega Man 4 on Saturday (played TMNT 3 recently on the Cowabunga Collection) - MM4 isn’t my favorite, but I have massive nostalgia for it (rented it so many times as a kid).
