I started voting independent a long time ago. I am in a pretty die hard Conservative area which was all right when it was Progressive Conservatives and not the Neo-Pseudo-Con thing they have now. We need to end the party system, we need electoral reform - I was abused during the election, brutal.

When PP came in that was my riding and we had a cabinet minister, David Pratt but the riding was split up and PP got in. Pratt lived here his whole life, I voted for him on local council, his Mom and Dad came and asked for my vote. Provincially I am in the riding Carney holds, not federally,

Totally accurate - they parachute in candidates that have no connection to their constituents. They are also only interested in "monied" people - if you don't make $150,000 a year, you are of no interest to them. Also sick of punditry pretending to be journalism - it makes me throw up in my mouth.

Catherine McKenna wrote a book about it "Run Like a Girl" and she relates a few disturbing stories on how women are treated and what she, family & friends went thru. I remember Elizabeth May reading out from her Twitter feed a few years back - and it was "C*nt" repeated over and over and over again.

Dennis Leary in The Ref - my most favourite Christmas movie. Alan Rickman in Robin Hood - his Sheriff of Nottingham is a tour de force - he did good villainy stuff. Jennifer Garner in Peppermint.
