Finally took the time to update my beleaguered Ko-fi page with my previous posted artwork from July - August! Yes, including the Rosalina pic. Paid supporters get access to the unresized versions of the Mario Princess pics, along with other previous content, but most of everything else is free!

September set: Street Fighter Princesses!

Daisy x Cammy: Daissy
Peach x Chun-Li: Peach-Li
Rosalina x Rose: Rosa

Rosa's original post got flagged by Bsky Moderation, so I'm playing it safe. You can view her on my Ko-fi page for free (paid support gives access to a full-sized version, if you like)!

If she loses to Rei, it's going to be like that whole "losing to Shinji" bit again.

Those are a straight up pair of doorstoppers, alright!

"From across all of Transformers", subtly means that somewhere in there is that literal Ratchet/Megatron mashup, unless you're strictly going by "one bot per shot". :D

Seriously, imagine what we might have gotten if Cronenberg agreed to write and direct a Transformers movie.

Having some difficulty in getting more views on this, no thanks to the content warning label (it's Princess Rosalina in a tight dress based on Street Fighter's Rose, and THAT'S IT, rassum-frassum).

If you can view this pic, and spread the love, I'd really appreciate it~!

Rosalina X Rose = Rosa!

I was originally going to cross Rosalina over with Manon as "Harmon", since Rosalina's French name is "Harmonie", and Manon is French... see how the references are stretching like taffy...

And then I thought of Rose. Anyways, more in the alt!

#SuperMario #StreetFighter
As I mentioned in the main post, my original plan was to cross Rosalina over with Manon, because I was only thinking of using currently active characters in Street Fighter 6. Fortunately, I remembered Rose, and while having them with similar names was an easy get, the fact that Rose has the special move, "Soul Satellite", were she has soul energy orbs circle around her, it was a short hop to have "Star Satellites", using Rosalina's beloved Lumas, who also assist her in Super Smash Bros.

Although the mental gymnastics trying to connect Rosalina and Manon by way of Manon's French nationality and Rosalina's corresponding name in the French editions of her games (ie. the actual French releases, not necessarily when you change the language to French on a US edition game) was a stretch worthy of Manon's high kicks. It was a fun mental exercise, but sometimes, I have to remember to keep it simple. Compared to Daisy and Peach's drawings earlier in this series, Rosalina was the first time I embraced actual vector inking for my linework. For the rendering process, I stepped back from Daisy and Peach's more involved rendering by creating a custom brush for CSP and using it for the bulk of the shading and highlighting process.

Adapting Rose's signature outfit for Rosalina was a simple process. Rosalina keeps most of her hairstyle intact, but has a small swishy curl taken from Rose's gravity-defying hair.

The outfit itself is little more than Rosalina's colors over Rose's costume, with the exception of a star-themed buckle on the belt, and the curvy hem of Rosalina's long dress being turned into a miniskirt under Rose's high cut skirt.

While I am very happy with my crossover designs, I am divided between Peach and Rosalina as to which one was better thought out. I think Peach-Li has the better combination of referential fanservice, I think Rosa ended up better drawn.

It's October, so that means that it's time for my annual Darkstalkers tributes. While I work on a pair of succubi, enjoy a repost of previous Night Warrior pics!

Hsien-Ko/Lei-Lei Morrigan and Lillith Felicia Hsien-Ko/Lei-Lei in my older style. Was also going for a MVC3 vibe with the coloring on this one.

If they don't win the awards, it paves the way for the games that come after.

My Rosalina X Rose crossover pic has been posted, but some of you may not have seen it, because it was tagged as 'sexually suggestive' by mods. I've already appealed, but for now, set your filters to 'Warn' so you have the option to access the pic if you want to.

Not mad, actually more surprised.

I have a process vid already prepped, but will hold off posting that here until I get a response from the moderation team on my appeal.

Slightly disappointed, too: I REALLY liked how this one came out.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles...

All we need now is a remaster of Vagrant Story, maybe with some modernized controls (especially for the camera), and streamlining a few of the clunkier mechanics.

Square, complete the original Ivalice trilogy!

Trying my hand at traditionally inking this pic.

Depending on how it turns out, might not post it, but most likely the worst case will just end up fixing things digitally where needed.

Getting around to playing #Expedition33, and just got to the end of Act I.

It's not quite the level of the end of Final Fantasy VII Disk 1, but it's pretty close.

And Maelle is my little angel of unrepentant destruction, I love her and have to draw her when I can.

Sometimes, a good measure of food is how it passes the "leftover test":

1) Is it just as good (or maybe even better) after it's been reheated?, and

2) Is it also just as good when eaten cold, especially as a late-night munchie?

Princess Peach x Chun-Li = Peach-Li!

Read the alt-text for more on how I put her look together!

(Reposted due to making a minor adjustment; totally had to retype the alt, because I forgot to save it, smh...)

#Nintendo #Capcom #Fanart #Crossover #PrincessPeach #Chun-Li #Streetfighter #SuperMario
Although Cammy and Daisy are my favorite girls in their respective franchises, I think I put more thought into designing Peach-Li (or Chun-Peach?)'s look.

Obviously, it's a mashup of Peach's princess gown and Chun-Li's qipao, but the fun is in the little details.

First off, befitting a princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, there's a lot of mushroomy details in the costume. The shoulders and sleeves are based on the classic power-up/1-Up mushroom, and instead of Chun-Li's spiked bracelets, she wears Peach's long gloves. The golden swirls on her chest also resemble mushrooms, and of course, there's the blue gem in the center.

Peach-Li has her hair tied up into buns, and the decoration holding them is styled like her crown, with the accompanying red and blue gems.

While mostly based on Chun-Li's classic high-slitted qipao, the designs on the front and the tail of the outfit are reminiscent of her SF6 default costume. Peach-Li's, however, sports patterns based on the clouds/bushes (they were the same sprite, but different colors) and hills from SMB1. Likewise, her wide belt alsohas patterns based on those clouds as well.

There were some adjustments I had to make in the process while making this. The original sketch actually has a slightly large head, so I shrunk it down a touch after scanning, before I got into the digital inks. Finally, one minor mistake is that you can't see the tuft of hair on the right side of her face, which I accidentally left out in the sketch stage, which I made the decision to keep as is.

Phew, that was a bit. Like this pic and comment what your favorite mushroom dish is, to let me know if you read this far! "Mostly" original pencils for the Peach-Li pic. You can see a minor gap between her chin and her right shoulder that was left there when I adjusted her head to a more proportionate size.

You might also notice that I did not do any pencil shading on this pic (or any for this particular series, for that matter). I'm still catching up on my pace, after being delayed last July-August due to irl stuff, so sticking to line art was the way to do it. But, like I said on my Daissy pic, the decision to be more painterly in coloring was not a wise choice given that reasoning.

But it looks good, right...?
