There should have been many “final straws” in this Trump regime (even prior to 2016). But if this murder by masked agents of the government isn’t the final one I don’t know how we come back from this as a country. This is the tyranny alluded to in the Declaration. And that is not hyperbole.

Well written with factual examples of actual Trump “policies.” We will have a LOT of work to do as a country once Trump is gone.

I debated writing this. It can feel tempting, upon encountering yet another instance of this administration’s racism, to let it be. How many ways can you say the same thing over and over again? And yet we have to write it down, if for nothing else, so those who come after us know we were against it.

Spent a week in DC in summer 2023. Walked/scootered everywhere. Howard U, DuPont Circle, The Mall, etc…. Went to bars, restaurants, museums. NEVER once felt unsafe. Statistics tell u what anecdotes repeat. This is a practice run for authoritarian takeovers in cities “dear orange leader” doesn’t like
