I woke with a tremendous feeling of longing and sadness.

I didn't know why, but I was missing my friend..more than friend. Moose.

It wasn't until later in the morning that the Mrs. let me know it was the anniversary of his passing. It was a date I never put in my calendar.

Man, I miss you.

I should have come here first, rather than dicking around with the UK.

The Netherlands ranks: #1 overall in child well-being. High in life satisfaction: 87% of 15-y/os say they're happy with their lives (highest in the world). Ranks the best, globally for kids mental health.

I see it. I feel it.

The Gaza and the I–P discourse functions as a live experiment, controlling info asymmetry under conditions of total visibility. If state actors can keep narrative control even when everyone can see what’s happening, it becomes the template for every future conflict, crackdown, or scandal.

It was fantastic. I’m hankering for some red chili, or green chili, for that matter, though.

Made my own Dutch-inspired chowder today, along with making a whole wheat loaf to go with.

I used smoked mackerel and cod from my local fish monger, capped off with local mussels and shrimp.

I’m completely stuffed. That was a lot of work for a bowl.

the 1936 Cornet, despite being simple to operate, is a beast of camera to try and get decent pictures.

the minimalist sight never really points to where you want, the lens isn't super sharp, focus distance--what focus distance?, and shutter speeds that all sound the same to me.

Still love it.

Developed a couple of pictures from Bruges, taken with my 1936 Coronet on 120mm film. I made my own negative mask for digitizing, and have some tweaks to get rid of light leaking around the edges. But I wanted to develop this roll myself and see what I got.
