Many joys and blessings in the world. Weds we had lunch at Frank Pepe's Pizzaria in Alexandria - a New Haven CT family/chain. Thin crust. My half had Gorgonzola cheese, mushrooms & spinach. Superb! Later, Emma bought Gorgonzola cheese at Safeway, and I've made omlettes with it Thu & Fri morn. WOW!

I read the details on how to do it properly, there are velcro collars on 2 of the roof spans, before you can fold the frame down and fold the windows over it! Its March 31st - and its 82 degrees!! Once Emma comes home from errands I vow its time for an end-of-March ride!

We have over a dozen trees of significant height on our little 1/4 acre - today was tree check and trim day for the tall trees over the shed at the end of the yard - a bit windy and cool - but watching Eric dance in the trees was fun

Oxalis Triangularis (False Shamrock - aka Purple Shamrock) Got 12 bulbs from Amazon, planted 6 with visible growth in rock wool pots Mar 7th, covered them w/a light box, & put them downstairs by the grow lights. I saw they tried to grow past the top yesterday, so I repotted them in soil today.

Oxalis Triangularis (False Shamrock - aka Purple Shamrock) Got 12 bulbs from Amazon, planted 6 with visible growth in rock wool pots Mar 7th, covered them w/a light box, & put them downstairs by the grow lights. I saw they tried to grow past the top yesterday, so I repotted them in soil today.
But its not all high tech and HDMI fun. I'm still sore from gardening on my knees last week - but whenever I do yardwork my Robin Buddy that turns up (hoping I'll dislodge a worm, no doubt). Comes to maybe 2 foot from me when I'm on my knees - too trusting! But humbling to have wildlife so close.

Cleaned up the Camera Column wiring with wiremold. Blue Tape's gone. We also had a painless 2 camera service with 2 new cams - for choir loft and altar Cam Sunday! Our #260 Livestream - our 5th yr Anniversary live! Amazing. I think the cams want more light - but a worshipful space is more subdued.

We're out of the sub-freezing temps ... tho overnights may dip into the low 30s, we hit 50 today! The snow from the Inaugural weekend is finally starting to melt, as is the layer of ice on the pond. But we may get hit with Feb ice-storms - wouldn't be the first time!

We now have a pair of foxes visiting our snowed in yard and frozen pond! One fox keeps sniffing around the midpond plants - they are probably seeing goldfish under the ice by those plants!~

It was 24 degrees when I got up at 6ayem. Emma was already up and prepping herself to speak at 10:30 at the rally at the Supreme court this morning. More later.
