This is Jeffrey. He was on clearance yesterday at Michaels, and my 9 year old declared she was taking him home. I’d like to think Jeffrey is an adorable symbol of hope.

If someone had told me that well I to my 40s, I would be responsible for feeding ALL of the living things in my house, I might have made different life choices.

One of my favorite things about my husband is that I can tell him about the bald eagles I saw on my way home, and he’s genuinely excited. At home, he’ll point out different birds to me, and we both appreciate them together.
