CBS pulled the 60 Minutes CECOT segment, but Canada aired it anyway.

The segment was streaming via Global TV and YouTube (since taken down). Having a VPN set to Canada helped. 🇨🇦

My take, there is no reason we shouldn’t see this. Most of it was known information, easily searchable.

We also want a Canada that thrives on inclusiveness for all Canadians.
We dont want a Canada that uses misogynistic hate to divide us.

This is the story of a sixteen-year-old kid who snuck out into a dying empire — and the woman who still refuses to back down, from Mesopotamia to Syria and beyond.

Dressed in Uzbek elegance, ready for dinner with my guide’s family in Bukhara. Uzbekistan was one of my first travel loves—my second international destination after Moscow back in 1991. That trip to Tashkent shaped my lifelong connection to Central Asia, a region that still feels like home

I was able to try out islamic fashion whenever I visited mosques in Syria. I’m not Muslim but have a keen interest and knowledge of this ancient religion.

When I saw the disgusting "trump Gaza" video this morning, the bile rose to my throat.

I won't share it. Instead, help me promote this counter narrative by Tala, from Gaza.

"Gaza is not yours to take. Gaza is ours, and we are still here. This is our land."

BRAVO to her strength and DEFIANCE. 🥹💪
