It’s unavoidable that people are going to prefer an older version of a character compared to their new version but it doesn’t even feel like we get a chance to do ANYTHING with the characters that WE MADE
It’s a bit disheartening as a creative I won’t lie. Not to mention the rewrite *isn’t even out* I could understand criticism if it was coming from a writing perspective but frankly none of you guys have any idea of what we have planned for these characters

So with all that being said I think it’s kinda jarring how strange the reaction has been to character rewrites, we obviously have a vision for this game and instead of a character with actual lore and personality tying to their background people seem to prefer the generic stock character archetypes
