It's an interesting juxtaposition that while a great many are experiencing that happy holiday friends and family high - that so many of us are alone and struggling through that valley.

I don't think I've introduced you to Ms. Jet. My first black cat. We found her outside a pizza joint, abandoned as a weeks old kitten because her people, who were homeless, got pushed out by the police. A sad story, and a sad start, for kitten who grew to be a great cat.
