Yep. And I think a lot of what started in the 1970s was a backlash to the Civil & Equal Rights movements. They saw the power shift from white male dominance & said to themselves "Hey, let's create The Heritage Foundation, Federalist Society, set up a conservative SCOTUS & get back to he 1950s!"
