Cincinnati was filled with joyful song as musicians performed at the Sun Day Song and Solar Festival held at the new Public Radio building. Solar arts & crafts for kids while solar and environmental organizations provided information on solar and electrification journeys.

More reporting back from Sun Day in Ohio. In Columbus, Third Act and Save Ohio Parks co-hosted an information session and community celebration at Corban Commons, an affordable senior living center in Columbus that recently added a large rooftop and ground-mount solar array. #SunDayofAction

Sun Day was celebrated in Middlefield at the annual Honey Bee Festival. Third Actors talked about benefits of solar power, provided resources to help residents go solar and electrify their homes, displayed solar panels that were sending electricity to the grid, and charged festival goers phones.

We had postcards to send to the Ohio House of Representatives Energy Committee in support of HB303 which if passed would Establish a Community Energy Program. Oh, and paper plate suns were a hit with the kids. 🌞

Third Act Ohio kicked off its first Sun Day event in Athens this past weekend with a booth at the annual Paw Paw Festival. Third Actor, Judy Smucker stated that "the event was great with so much interest. The Paw Paw fest is all about nature and doing what is best for the earth."
