Winona Fighter plays in Indianapolis at the Hifi on Monday. They put on a hell of a high energy, fun show.

Highly recommend for anyone in the area.

I'm not going to say George Carlin had amazing acting range, but seeing him in Jersey Girl, it's a bit surprising he didn't get a few more roles here and there in other films that needed a tough-but-loveable grandpa type character. He's charming and comes off earnest, plus he has the timing.

It's not phenomenal in any way, but it is a solid film and actively has some writing tone, direction choices, and changes to the editing style, it seems he stepped back from when it didn't work.

In terms of overall film making - Jersey Girl is one of Kevin Smith's best films and had it been received even a tiny bit more positively, I think his entire career trajectory would've changed.

Vaxis III: The Father of Make Believe is an easy front-to-back spin for the next few weeks on the turntable. This thing is great.

Sticking the landing is not guaranteed, but the Vaxis saga for Coheed & Cambria is set up pretty well to possibly surpass the original Amory Wars saga.

From top-to-bottom, I can't think of a better all-around PPV I have seen compared to Revolution 2025 from last night. Absolutely insane show.

I don't know if there is a moment in movies or TV that I randomly think about more than Jim Carrey leaving 7/11 saying "woah, big gulps, huh? Well... See you later."

Some days, you wake up and realize "ugh, I have to go to work". On others you wake up and realize "I have to go to work, but get to play Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii all weekend after it's done"

Today is one of those latter days.

Game awards prediction - they got Nintendo to agree to unveiling the date for their direct involving the switch 2 AND the Switch 2 release date.

That's the big reveal for this year's game awards.

Regardless of how thoughtful the gift is - I constantly think I'm just wrapping presents for other adults to just help say "I swear I didn't just randomly get something online yesterday for you."

Nothing is worse than forgetting to shut your alarm off the night before what is planned to be a relaxing, lazy 3 day weekend.
