My life is so different from 2 years ago. Then, I was traveling the world for work, making videos & websites. Now I have non-drug abuse track marks and hematomas and had a fake arm arrive at my house the other day.

I don’t know how I’m supposed to focus on my micro exam today when my prof just dropped that there’s “bright and shiny new microscopes” in our lab this morning. All we are allowed to do is more streak plates today. So cruel. 😭🫶🏻🦠🔬

One of the things I miss the most about my time in Europe was the lack of English spoken anywhere. It was such a calming experience to not be around American drivel.

Since returning to school after many years, I’ve been employing a strategy of fighting for every point for the 1st 2/3 of the semester so I can chill by finals week. It works like a charm—for ex, I just realized if I get a 50% on my next test AND blow off the final, I will still end up with an A.🤓💪🏻

Aaand we’re done with physiology! I only got a 70% on the test, but in my defense, I needed a 51% to keep my A in the class so it’s still an overachievement lol

Thankful this year for my British in-laws who had no issue whatsoever with my postponing Tday for a few days while I recover from a nasty chest cold.
Not thankful for the unmasked, symptomatic petri dish who spluttered directly behind me all last week in anatomy class.
