The RPG systems are also excellent, and definitely incentivizes repeat playthroughs.

You won't be able to get every weapon, or armour piece, or good outcome to a quest, or dialogue tree, and that's great. Because it means you can run through and experience the game from a different perspective.

As someone else who usually really dislikes some romance plots, it really depends on how it is done.

If you've got a story about one thing that isn't romance, and then shoehorn the romance into it? I hate it. It just doesn't work.

If it feels natural or realistic? I'll let it slide

The other side has slowly become a cesspool of toxicity, hate, and vitriol. It's nothing more than doomscroll central, and discussions are impossible to have.
