On 23 April 1916 my maternal grandfather, Thomas Edwin Beadle married my nanna, Catherine May Brunning in the All Saints church in West Ham. Further research and I discovered my husband’s 2x great grandparents, George T Usher & Rose Ann Button married in the same church on 25 May 1854.

I have recently been to Istanbul and fell in love with the city. The Basilica Cisterns would have had to be my favourite thing! The medusa statue cast a great shadow!
