rehearsals, hours of waiting for my turn in the contests. I was taught discipline and overcoming a bad mood or learning how to sing when I had fever, when othher kids only learned how to do basic math.

Now my peers have families and kids and I have my art job and dnd-nights.

And I mentioned her son’s autism because he has high needs for care and support. And she manages it all on her own while travelling from country to country.

Switching two countries as an immigrant was so hard for me I burnt out like hell and I only had a cat and a husband who took care OF ME

the store was running for a couple of years so she was probably around 23-24 when she opened it.

When people talk about experience gap as something linear and solely based on age I wonder if they themselves ever met real people.
