Fascinating discussion at New Statesman Politics Live with William Browder KCMG on approaches to dealing with Putin and the Ukraine war, with suggestion to confiscate frozen Russian central bank reserves held in the West to pay for Ukrainian war effort. Mitigates Trump, but do we have enough time?

Today marks the 1000th day of Putin's illegal invasion of Ukraine.

We hosted a Ukrainian mother and her two daughters for 8 months following the outbreak of the invasion. They returned home to Ukraine but have since had to flee to Ireland along with her mother and sister.

“Ideal for long distance land transportation” claim has never encountered roundabouts and creaking road infrastructure 😅

Offshore wind decommissioning is going to become a much hotter topic in the next five years as some UK earlier wind farms reach the end of their CfD or overall lifespan.

Advice from government seems woefully outdated (2018!) so we're looking into it - any pointers from bluesky crowd welcome!

If HMG are serious about NESO's plan for Clean Energy 2030 we need to deploy offshore wind faster, and that starts with cutting consenting times in half.

ORE Catapult have a plan: using drones, robotics and AI we can make consenting quicker, cheaper, greener and safer.
