More on 3. For school I found out I can submit copies of the original diploma then the school will notorize it. Saving $60. For immigration, I used CAD work permit as guide and they want a FBI record, the application is only $18 www.edo.cjis.gov#/, but the fingerprint verification is $50 thru USPS

6. Could get help from relatives in Canada and borrow their address. Or since lucky my company is global, apply for a job overseas. Either way have the best chance to open a savings account there

5. Money and investment in Foreign countries. Essentially unable to have non u.s. based domicile investments in Canada or EU. EU is too far and different for my family. So the only way is to open a savings account in canada.

4. Important documents save a hard copy not just on the cloud, like mortgage info, all the bank savings records, investments, 401k records. If it's anything like Nazi Germany I do hope one day to recover my $$. Thinking of getting a NAS too but not sure how useful it is if I have to flee

And that gives me hope, and humanity has gone through dark times and survived and came out better. I need to endure for my children, although I'm very much intimidated by the "slowly boiling them frogs" process. On the other hand I'm doing great with spending, and dgaf attitude about work

How his uncle survived the Trail of Tears, only didn't survive at the end. And that story clicked for me, how some poc weren't as surprised and acted like it's the end of the world. This is bc they have been through worse, much much worse, life and death worse. And they survived.
