Visited lovely Southport, N.C., USA this morning where this restaurant is adapting to sea level rise by using a mobile walkway to let their customers cross the street without getting their feet wet during high tide.

I blame Ronald Reagan. Idiots who believed him when he said, “The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help” would naturally think that firing lots of government workers and appointing clowns to lead those remaining wouldn’t cause any problems.

Trump says the US needs Greenland for national security. Security from what? If it is from Russia, wouldn’t it be better, cheaper, and more effective just to support Ukraine’s defense against Russia instead?
